SHAMANIC NATURE RETREAT 2027

Gáregasnjárga Shamanic Nature Retreat 2027 ( Finnish and Norwegian text below)
—————————-

Welcome to the Shamanic Nature Retreat 2027. This week-long journey invites you to immerse yourself in shamanic, Sámi, and Karelian traditions, learn indigenous well-being practices, reconnect with your inner nature, and embrace the untamed beauty of the Arctic.

The retreat’s shamanic practices include lectures on shamanic philosophy, joik, hikes and reflective moments in the wilderness, and local and wild food that respects both the surrounding ecosystem and your body. All of this is designed to support alignment with nature’s cycles. The practices are complemented by yoga, meditation, ancient Karelian herbal treatments, sauna rituals, breathwork, and sound healing to support your holistic path of self-discovery.

The instructors will guide you in creating a deep connection with the surrounding Arctic nature from different perspectives, in a shamanic and holistic way.

The retreat gives you insight into a shamanic lifestyle:

Shamanism is about strengthening your connection to nature and to the cycles of nature and life. It is a broad concept rooted in diverse cultures, emphasizing harmony with nature and understanding your role within the ecosystem.

Shamanic Nature Retreat creates a nurturing space for you to reconnect with yourself, nature, and indigenous wisdom.

While rituals and ceremonies are often associated with shamanic traditions, they are not the main focus of this retreat. Instead, you will learn practical shamanic knowledge that you can apply in your everyday life after the retreat has ended.

We explore the philosophical, cultural, and historical roots of shamanism, as well as tangible daily practices that can enrich your life.
